Bookkeeper Job Description Position: Part-Time Bookkeeper Location: In-office Reports To: Club Treasurer and Board of Directors Experience: Minimum five years Position Summary The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club using QuickBooks Online and the Club’s point-of-sale system. This position manages accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll records, reconciliations, tax filings, and monthly financial reporting. The Bookkeeper works closely with the Treasurer, Board of Directors, accounting firm, payroll provider, and Club management. This is a part-time, in-office position. Primary Responsibilities • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online. • Manage and reconcile financial data generated by the Club’s point-of-sale system. • Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoices, deposits, and payments. • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and merchant processing activity. • Complete the monthly financial close and provide timely financial statements to the Board. • Prepare balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, budget reports, and receivable and payable reports. • Maintain payroll records, generate checks, and coordinate with Paychex. • Prepare or coordinate required filings, including payroll taxes, sales tax, property tax, tangible property tax, income tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, and other county or state reports. • Coordinate financial documentation for audits and insurance renewals. • Track and assist with renewing beverage, restaurant, and other required licenses. • Assist the Treasurer with annual budgeting, expense tracking, and special projects. • Maintain organized and confidential digital and paper records. • Work with the Treasurer, Board, accounting firm, vendors, and government agencies as needed. Operations Manager Position Summary Stuart Corinthian Yacht Club is seeking a professional, organized, and personable Operations Manager to oversee the club’s daily operations. As a small yacht club with 24 boat slips, we value personal service, strong relationships, attention to detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Operations Manager will work closely with club officers, members, vendors, staff, boat owners, and guests. Diplomacy, discretion, and the ability to communicate effectively with different personalities are essential to this position. Primary Responsibilities Member and Guest Relations • Serve as a primary point of contact for members, guests, boat owners, and visiting boaters. • Maintain a friendly, professional, and service-oriented club environment. • Respond to member questions, requests, and concerns promptly and diplomatically. • Communicate club policies and procedures clearly and respectfully. • Assist with member reservations, club activities, special events, and general inquiries. • Protect member privacy and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
